At the SCCs’ discretion, they can also assist with hardware and software problems not related to connecting your computer to the network.

Faculty and Staff Computers

The College supplies a desktop computer to each employee that requires one for their job responsibilities. These computers are refreshed on a periodic basis from funds supplied by the College for technology renewal. Our normal replacement cycle is approximately five years. For more information on laptop purchases view the Kalamazoo College Laptop Purchasing Policies.

NOTE: The President’s Staff made a budget decision to suspend purchases of new computers for the 2017-18 year. This means that the computer rotation is suspended and lengthened by one year.
