It’s Your First Day!

Information Services (IS) is so glad you’re here! On your first day you can expect to:

  • Sign into your Kalamazoo College Network Account for the First Time – Visit the Help Desk with your supervisor to receive your network account information. Please be sure to bring your cell phone when you come to the Help Desk to set a password and so we may assist you with setting up multi-factor authentication (MFA).
  • Get your printers installed – To get your printer installed your supervisor should email Help.Desk@kzoo.edu with the name of the printer.
  • Gain Access to Network File Shares – In order to gain access to the shared drives/folders please work with your Supervisor to request access.

  • Phone Services – Visit the phone services page for instructions on setting up your phone, checking your voicemail, call forwarding and more.
  • Office 365 – Office 365 is available for all current Kalamazoo College students, faculty and staff. Learn how to log in and check out trainings for available apps.
  • Wireless Access – K has three different networks available to students, faculty, and staff.
  • Microsoft Teams – Teams at K serves as our instant message/chat software and is a way to collaborate with others from a distance. All Kalamazoo College faculty, staff, and students have access to Microsoft Teams.
